Becoming a local councillor is one of the ways in which you could really make a difference. The next Chelmsford Borough Council elections will be held in May 2011 – and you could be one of those standing for election!

As part of Local Democracy Week 2010, Chelmsford Borough Council is holding an informal evening event about becoming a Councillor on Wednesday, 13th October. Come along if you would like hear local Councillors talk about their experiences and the chance to ask them questions.
