 The Planning Officer for Bicknacre is Cllr June Saltmarsh.  The Planning Officer for Woodham Ferrers is Cllr Albert Mair.

The Parish Council has a policy to refrain from stating whether they are in support or not of an application and prefer to give a local view.  

The Chelmsford City Council Planning Department may take our views on board but ultimately make the final decision.

The Planning Officers do their best to visit each applicant and deliver the following letter:

  •  A review will take place of your application (you are under no obligation to allow entrance into your premises).
  •  Our Planning Officer will not provide planning advice nor suggest responses or opinions.  Questions raised by applicants and/or affected parties relating to planning advice will be re-directed to Chelmsford City Council Planning Department.
  •  Planning Officers shall only comment on material considerations and will present an independent assessment of the material facts relating to the application.
  •  Please note that Chelmsford City Council ask the local Parish Council for their views only, as sometimes the knowledge which may affect an application is locally held.  Any final decision will be made by then in line with the relevant CCC Planning Policies.
