ACTION PLAN/COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Exciting news from our Parish Council Meeting on 5th February 2019:

We have an applicant for the Community Special Constable role.

We plan to install a herb garden in Woodham Ferrers and St. Mary’s school has offered to be involved.

New swings at Lodge Road on 15th February.

New fencing being installed around the car park at The Hooe.

Further enquiries being made into additional car parking at Bicknacre Play Fields.

 

 

The Parish Council received £6,800 from the EALC Local Service Fund to employ a company to upkeep our village greens & open spaces!

The Parish Council received £1,180 from the  Essex County Council CIF Fund for matched funding for new swings at Lodge Road – installation date 15th Februaruy 2019

Bicknacre

Village Herb Garden

New swings at Lodge Road – part funded by Essex County Council Community Initiatives Fund

 

 

 

We have installed Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s) installed in the villages, one at Bicknacre Village Hall, the other at The School Room, Woodham Ferrers.  We are running a futher training courses in conjunction with local First Responders, which are open to all residents of the Parish in the first instance.

AEDs are proven to save lives and are therefore an invaluable addition to health and safety for all

Niagara Play Tower – free of charge (Sovereign Play)

Teenage Bench (free of charge Soveriegn Play)

Trim Trail ( PC Funded)

New Swings including basket swing

New pathway to swings to allow wheelchair access

Lodge Road Playing Field

New basket swing to include disabled use
