BICKNACRE FRIENDSHIP CLUB
I trust this finds you in good health.
Hopefully, we are through the worse and getting nearer to the end of this terrible virus. Looking on the positive, we have started to plan our first Celebratory Lunch. It will be great to see you all and enjoy your company again, so we should celebrate, in style, when it happens.
I have talked to Charlie at Fox & Hounds, Cock Clarks and have booked Monday August 3rd, 12.30….. Put it in your diary and don’t forget to book nearer the time….. 01621 829 662.
They have a lovely garden to the left side of the pub which, Charlie plans to set out so we can dine there, weather permitting. Let’s hope this lovely sunshine continues to shine on us.
Although the date is booked, it is of course tentative, will depend on what happens the next month or so and will be moved, if needed. Let’s also keep our fingers crossed, it won’t.
We will keep you in touch and confirm the date and menu nearer the time.
Looking forward to seeing you all again in August to celebrate.
All new friends very welcome

Bicknacre Friendship Club Welcomes YOU…. Sandy 01245 225351
For most of us, our friends are those we make when we are young, at work or through our children.
When we arrive at retirement age we are sometimes apprehensive of change. Apprehensive of making new friends. Apprehensive of trying something new, just because……………………..
Loneliness, for some is not meant to be a mandatory part of retirement. The days to relax and enjoy life are now.
New friends, easy chatter and others who are also retired and feel like we do – could be your future. A good and enjoyable future, if only we had the courage to give it a go. To see if we are interested in the other people like us – Maybe, just Maybe it could be a new beginning into something good……….JUST MAYBE !!!.
So why not give it a try ?
What have you got to loose and instead you may have everything to gain.
BICKNACRE FRIENDSHIP CLUB was established for the over 55 and retired.
We promise, to make you feel welcome & thank the day you gave it a try.
